TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) Publix reopened its online scheduling portal for vaccine appointments again at 7 a.m. Friday, but appointments filled up at most locations by 8 a.m.
The grocer announced Thursday that it will start taking appointments for all of its 730 in-store Florida pharmacies. Most stores ran out of slots Friday morning, except for stores in Leon County.
Florida residents 65 and older are now eligible to receive the vaccine.
